Admission procedure for BNYS
Application Registration Fee of Rs.1000 (non – refundable).
Eligibility
- Pass in 12th standard/ PUC with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- He/ she must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December.
- Age limit- should have completed the age of 17 years before admission
- +2 Passed with 45% aggregate marks in physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany)-other communities
- +2 Passed with 45% aggregate marks in physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany)-Backward communities/BC (Muslim)
- +2 Passed with 40% aggregate marks in physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany)-Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities
- +2 Passed with 35% aggregate marks in physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology & Botany)- Scheduled caste, Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar), Scheduled Tribe
- The candidates under Physically Challenged Category– (Locomotor Disability of lower limbs alone) OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DC should have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in each prescribed subject in the qualifying Examination.

Course Objectives:
- To make the students competent in the practice of holistic medicine with expert knowledge and experience
- To make them develop leadership and communication skills to work as leading researchers and clinicians in the health care domain
- To make them proficient in promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative medicine and therapy for various diseases
- To make them develop skills to identify the social, economic, environmental, biological and emotional determinants of health in a given case and plan a holistic therapy
- To make them adept at different therapeutic modalities and their administration
- To make them competent in recognising community health issues and work successfully in various health care settings.
